Agreement to these terms
This website is operated by Chef Ceber Inc. (“Chef Ceber”, “we”, “us”), 10651 Keele St, Maple, Ontario L6A 3Y9, Canada. Barlo is a brand of Chef Ceber Inc. By accessing or using this site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into them by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What this site is for
The site presents the Barlo product range and lets you contact us, submit wholesale enquiries and subscribe to news. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Prices, availability, formats and specifications are provided for information and can change without notice.
Enquiries are not orders
Submitting a wholesale enquiry or receiving a reply from our sales team does not create a contract. Sales of products are governed exclusively by the written quotation, order confirmation, invoice or supply agreement issued by Chef Ceber Inc. for that transaction. If those documents conflict with these terms, those documents prevail for that transaction.
Product information and allergens
Product descriptions, cocoa percentages, weights and imagery on this site are illustrative and provided in good faith. They are not a substitute for the product label or the official specification sheet. For ingredient, allergen, nutritional and certification information, always rely on the packaging of the product you receive and the specification sheet issued for that product code. Products are produced in a facility that handles milk, soy, nuts including pistachios and other allergens.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law.
- Do not attempt to probe, disrupt or overload the site or its forms.
- Do not submit false, misleading or automated form submissions.
- Do not scrape, harvest or bulk-download content or data from the site.
We record the time, IP address and browser details of form submissions and may refuse, rate limit or block submissions to protect the site and its users.
Intellectual property
The Barlo name, the Barlo logo and marks, and all site content (text, graphics, photographs, layout and code) belong to Chef Ceber Inc. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation or personal use. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.
Communications
When you submit a form you confirm the information you give is accurate and that you are authorized to give it (for example, on behalf of your business). Consent to being contacted is collected through an explicit checkbox and recorded together with the submission, as described in the Privacy Policy. Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe mechanism.
Third-party sites
Links to third-party sites, including chefceber.com and social platforms, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, about the site, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits warranties or rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited, including applicable consumer protection legislation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chef Ceber Inc., its directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chef Ceber Inc. from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the site, and you attorn to their jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you hold under local consumer law.
General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Chef Ceber Inc. about use of this site.
